Interesting video and no regrets that I went for the RSC2 a couple of months ago. I agree with your review, except for the following. RSC2 is just as easy to get into underslung mode. Just buy the smallrig or other brand back handle like I did as I didnt like the idea of using the hinge. I believe it was something you had recommended before. Secondly I dont know if a replaceable battery will make it last longer. Will it still be in production 5 to 6 years from now when it melts? Probably just the one used for the RSC5 which will run on a fuel cell instead.
Ut your rsc2 can be dead in three years if you use it regularly. So think to invest 500$ every three years. A cell lithium battery will exist in three years. You can find plenty used in solar generator or DIY generator.

What a good comparison and I am looking to get my first camera gimbal, RS2 is tempting but price is steep. RSC2 seems more wallet-friendly for now, however, as your point in the video, replaceable battery is a huge selling point though.
Replaceable battery isn't a selling point for me. I've wasted 700$ for a Moza Air 2 when it first came out and had the most horrible batteries one could buy as “spares” (the gimbal took 4 pieces simultaneously), even branded by Moza themselves but finding at least one battery dead in a brand new 4pack or dying on you mid-shooting only 2 weeks later after purchase, it almost felt like Moza was making more money off the scam batteries than the gimbal itself, I bet it was all a part of their “con” plan, rebranded batteries with a 60% chance to die in the first month from purchase and even 90% rate of DOA for at least one of the batteries, which would force pro users to buy them like hot bread (55$/pack) just to have the warranty that the gimbal won't embarrass them in the middle of a shooting. I'm traumatized. I moved to DJI specifically for a “non-removable” battery that I know I can trust since DJi is “Apple” in the gimbal world and they wouldn't afford a high percentage of battery unreliability, at least for the first 2 years.
Great video and I just subscribed - money and size wise and features etc there doesn't look to be much in it - I do like the way the Weebill is designed better for the low shots but from this vid it seems they both have their pros and cons. I'd love to see a review of a Gimbal where the battery can be replaced if there is such a product out there as this seems to be a major drawback with both these Gimbals
Thank you for this helpful information. I was about to drop a lot of cash on a newer gimbal. I still haven't master the Weebill S yet lol. DJI RS2 really sounds great.

That's why I only saw today that most stabilizers are not compatible with my camera. I hope you will find some time to give me advice on what to buy. I look forward to your reply. Best regards from Germany

Hi! I‘m shooting on my iPhone 11 Pro for now, but the Osmo Mobile isn‘t strong enough for when I attach a Moment Lens, counter-weights and an ext. microphone - „not strong“ meaning e.g. that it can‘t handle fast moves. I know that only few RSC2 features will work in that setup, but I‘m referring to the stabilization only for now. Thx in advance!
That monitor on the Weebill 2 is a good design but it looks so fragile. I'm guessing that it will be good for a couple of months and then it will loosen and break.

I Love the RCS2
Great video! What backpack did you use for the video?
Not paying attention?
can i ask if which is better Moza Aircross 2 or DJI Sc?... and between the rsc or rsc2?
RSC2
Seriously? I hung in for 15 minutes to see your pick between the RCS2 and Weebill 2 and you pull out the RS2?? Not cool man.
Lol seriously
Great review!
Thanks
I use my rsc2 on 12 hour non stop, and it still alive
Ok that is impressive. Many I should send mine back to get the battery checked.
have you test the tracking option in the Weebil 2 with the new transmitor? how does performe?
Yes it is not impressive.
@@PeterMakholm Thanks bro! how does compare to the Raveneye tracker?
bro what kind of backpack did you have?
What's camera bags do you use?
Douchebag the backpack pro. I have made a video about it.
Thank you for this helpful information. I was about to drop a lot of cash on a newer gimbal. I still haven't master the Weebill S yet lol. DJI RS2 really sounds great.
zhiyun 2s or weebill2 or rs2
RS2 mate.
Does active track 3.0 work without phone holder in Ronin SC2
Yes, but it is easier on the RS2 because you can use the screen to see the tracking
@@PeterMakholm Is that mean, The Connectivity between Camera & Gimbal by using bluetooth only?
Hello
I plan to buy a stabilizer for my Sony DSC RX 10 M4 camera. I do photography as a hobby, I don't have much knowledge about stabilizers. That's why I only saw today that most stabilizers are not compatible with my camera. I would ask you to give me advice on which stabilizer to buy, or maybe even make a video about that problem with the Sony camera and stabilizer. I specifically like the Dji RSC 2 pro combo and the Zhiyun Weebill 2 pro kit .... but unfortunately I don't know if either of those two combinations would work with my camera?
I hope you will find some time to give me advice on what to buy. I look forward to your reply.
Best regards from Germany
I have a question Peter. When you have a Sony A7siii on a gimbal should the stabilization be turned off? Active Stabilization? Or is it better to leave everything on?
you want to leave it on standard stabilization on, active mode will crop in and be even more stable if you really need it for certain situations.
Crane 2s or DJI ronin rsc 2? Both cost the same
Rsc2, i use this gimbal, so perfect
It's possible that you have a bad rsc2. For me it easily lasts me for 10-12 hr wedding days
Hey buddy, its been over 9 months since you posted. Is the battery still lasting you those 10-12 hours?
@@GreenDvL I upgraded to the RS2 since so I couldn't tell you
@@shawnbrooks12 May I ask why did you upgrade tho? Im looking for a gymbal to shoot weddings
@@GreenDvL so on the rsc2 during weddings I was noticing the locking mechanism on the tilt axis was essentially loosing its grip. Like their locking mechanism is a poor design so it was starting to slip even while shooting. It's kind of a common problem on that gimbal. Other than that the battery life was phenomenal and it carried any weight I needed it to carry
I'll just keep my weebill S then.
will prolly get the RSC2 and keep Weebil S
What about the wireless system which is better for tracking subjects ? ... I have the wireless system for the weebill s biut sometimes having issues to connect the app via Bluetooth
Thanks, I needed this video. I decided not to buy a new gimble. I will continue to use my Ronin SC. When I decide to buy a new one, it will be a Ronin for sure. The Weebill doesn’t seem to meet my standards in terms of build quality
Good choice mate.
Thanks for your quality videos! I will check out your "gimbal academy." Thanks!
I think the saddest part is after years of use Peter still isn’t sponsored.
No way!! I didn’t see that coming 🤣🤣🤣
Stick with DJI. I fully charge my wee bill 2 and when I go to use it a day or two later the battery is dead.
I have the weebill s with a sony a73 and 28-75 Tamron as my main setup. Should I upgrade or wait for the weebill 3? and one more question. If I made a custom settings like you suggest on the weebill s, when I turn off the gimbal and turn it on again, does it turn on with my custom settings?
Does the Weebill S work as you want? If yes, save your money
hey man where'd you get the side handle for the weebill 2?
You can get it at amazon or zhiyun link is here: amzn.to/3wx9xSl
Joli !
the end result is surprised me
Yes I would say that it is a better deal to spend that extra $100 and get the rs2 combo if instead of the weebill 2 pro.
That right-handed configuration has got to be the dumbest design flaw by Zhiyun. 😂
Did not mention camera compatibility at all...
I wish you did side by sided video shootout.
DJI RSC2 👌
Hi! I‘m shooting on my iPhone 11 Pro for now, but the Osmo Mobile isn‘t strong enough for when I attach a Moment Lens, counter-weights and an ext. microphone - „not strong“ meaning e.g. that it can‘t handle fast moves.
So I was wondering if I can get the RSC2 to do the job that is to heavy for the small gimbals. Has anyone tried using that with a phone as camera?
I know that only few RSC2 features will work in that setup, but I‘m referring to the stabilization only for now. Thx in advance!
Wow prices are ridiculous more than a camera dslr
14:00 Conclusion
$999 saved 😋😁
timecodes bro. timecodes
I thought weebill 2 was 350 😳
That monitor on the Weebill 2 is a good design but it looks so fragile. I'm guessing that it will be good for a couple of months and then it will loosen and break.
Peter, are you aware of the tilt orbital jerk flaw the Weebill has? Se Park demonstrated it in his comparison with DJI. I was wondering if this is still an issue with the Weebill-S or 2.
Video referenced: ruclips.net/video/VjN122ZCSi8/видео.html
That’s a year old review from the previous model Weebil.
@@pianofinger That doesn't answer the question. Orbital jerk flaw still exists or not? I can not have this in my live productions.
very nice video!!! just subscribe now!!
from south korea
come on limit the literature .. show in real practical world how to shoot with different angels .
Dude! how are you going to do a comparison video between the Weebill 2 and the RSC2 then in the verdict reccomend a gimbal that wasnt even in the comparison..... Disliked the video
Soooo stup^* to compare the price of the pro combo (STILL CHEAPER) that comes with follow focus and video transmitter and carrying bag to the RS that its only the gimbal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
